Juhi Garg (see LinkedIn Profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/juhi-garg-58507613a/) is a Journalism graduate from Delhi University, a Masters in Corporate Law from National Law School of India, Bangalore and a Grade 5 western classical jazz Piano degree holder from Royal Schools of Music, London. She has worked for HBO and Cartoon Network India in communications, as well as been India Partner for one of the top 3 global consulting firms to law firms.
She co-founded ED Times, a youth news media startup which is now Google News funded, rated as the top 10 youth blogs worldwide for third year in a row, focused on creating responsible news content whilst trying to change reading habits of young India, clocking 1 Million views every month.
ED Times is winner of the Best Blog Award (Gold) at the India Digital Summit 2019 of IAMAI (India’s Premier Digital Organisation headed by Google Asia VP) in association with Times Now and Network 18, partnered by Netflix, Amazon, Facebook. It is also nominated for India 500 Startup Awards 2020 and recently listed under the Top Entertainment Blogs 2020 by Sparpedia.CH.
World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Media, Entertainment and Culture 2020 and 2021 has her as an invited member, where she is also one of the core drafters for “Pathways to Digital Justice”, a Whitepaper for law and policymakers, released in September 2021.
The FLO (FICCI) compendium of 100 successful women entrepreneurs in MSME, brought out in collaboration with the Ministry of MSME, unveiled by Hon. Minister Sh. Nitin Gadkari also features her in the list, which is available on MSME’s website.
She was awarded the Women in Business Award 2019 for the Media domain (by Easy To Pitch) and as the ‘Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2019’ by Payal Foundation supported/presented by Indian Chambers of Commerce and Ministry of Finance.
She also received the ‘Indian Women Excellence & Leadership Award 2019’ by WIEF, supported by Government of India’s Startup India, MSME, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment & Business World, presented by Hon. Minister Sh. Suresh Prabhu.
Juhi is convenor of the Media & Entertainment panel for CII Delhi’s Executive Council 2021-22.
She has been a speaker at the IAMAI’s Edutech 2020, CII’s Annual North India Business Conference alongside MP Kirron Kher, Noida Literature Fest, India Youth Forum, World Masters: Law Asia, Leader Summit at College of Business Studies, B-school MDI Gurgaon’s flagship event, CII’s Delhi Youth Conclave, Indian Youth Leaders Rendezvous by Indo American Center & US Embassy with political personalities, and various other platforms, and has been quoted in Economic Times. Plus, been panelist on national TV debates.
